How are cryonics coming along, /sci/entists?

I kinda dismissed the field as viable other than a last ditch effort to freeze myself and hope it just werx. But I was thinking recently given how far bionics have developed, I can see them outperforming natural appendages moreso than some already have. So I wonder when that happens could I saw off my limbs and cryonically freeze them if I choose to de-transition from being a cyborg?
