Secondly who says it has to violate the light cone?
The light cone itself can adapt, since the portal is a hole through space time, the light cone would extend through the portal. Plus, theories like this are nothing new. What about alcubierre drives etc. that move space itself and ride a bubble? Still, imho distorts the lightcone itself, since a light cone is defined as "n special and general relativity, a light cone is the path that a flash of light, emanating from a single event"
Meaning a flash of light at the right time would be able to travel where you could, meaning the light cone is not violated.
Also, when we look at the portal of A & B, the space inside connecting the two would be retracting at 100km/h somewhere, since you are travelling through it, you would have to either decelerate with it via some force of drag or you would shoot out at 105km/h. If this did not happen, Neither A or B would happen, instead you would be pulled apart layer by layer, shot back in either direction at once. For A to exist there would need to be an interconnect as big as the object traversing it, which to reason if there was an interconnect it would be retracting somewhat or at least bending to match the distance being traveled. The length doesn't need to be 1:1 since we are travelling through a different dimension but any situation that does not result in death in my understanding of physics would need an interconnect to work when momentum is in play.
