You can use microwaves to keep animals warm. We know that zebra finches have been observed to move right up next to the microwave emitter when the lab is cold. This has led to some funny stories. Researchers walked into the lab to find all the birds were gone and panicked cause that means their multi-month microwave exposure study was useless. Nope turns out they were all just hiding in a waveguide cause the lab was cold. Microwave heating may also be advantageous for keeping people warm. Cause it means you can heat up just the people rather than the whole damn house

How high frequency are we talking? I wouldn’t really consider microwaves to be high frequency. Just like radiation in general? heating and radiation oncology like the other two said. Medical imaging. Astronomy. Maybe like increased vitamin synthesis for uv and stuff. Growing plants is pretty benificial. Idk

Microwave auditory phenomenon could theoretically be used to speak to persons with trapped in syndrome, other paralyzed persons, maybe even in some psychiatric applications, person hearing demons could be introduced to a calm, caring, soothing voice to blot out the schizophrenic voices. I guess I should have been more specific in that I meant applications for directed high frequency beams used for a purpose which stimulates an organism or a matter in such a way as to affect a change, not so much as a passive means to observe things ie. medical imaging.
