This includes understanding the underlying phenomena, methodology, concepts of validity and robustness, and a great deal of statistics at least at the basic level of chi-square tests, statistical power, bayesian methods, etc.
Not that the skills I've mentioned are incredibly hard - it's not rocket science - but you have to have quite some knowledge. As discussions on reddit and 4chan show, the vast majority lacks those skills and therefore their opinion is not substantiated by facts but rather just regurgitates the opinion of others.
And so is this girl, whatever she tries to ssy it doesn't matter because she does not have an unbiased well-informed opinion. But the same applies to the shitposters here, so whatever.
