So, /sci/. I need advice
Living in a small-ish city in a bit of a shithole country I couldn’t study maths in university as I had planned and wanted for basically all of my life; there was a sort lf career on ‘applied maths’ but looking at the curriculum it was more of a physics lite.
I’m currently taking pharmaceutical chemistry, and I would jump to maths if I could; but i cant. The only way to go somewhere I could actually do a mayor on maths is getting out of here, and the only way of doing that is getting a government grant by doing well in uni. But most colleges refuse to give out second bachelors degrees, and I have no idea how I could branch off into maths with a masters or Ph.D aside from solving a millennium problem for notoriety and a job in academia.
I will probably keep getting deeper into different subjects with books and what not as I’ve been doing all of my life, but what is the point if I won't have a piece of paper confirming I know shit?
Am I fucked, /sci/?
