You have a coin with 50% chance to go heads and 50% to tails when thrown.

You throw heads.

Now the state of the coin has changed. It has a potential. It owes the universe one tails, to balance things out. Otherwise it wouldn't be a "50% tails" coin. It would just be a chaotic coin with no connection to the fabric of reality. Now that is just silly, isn't it.

Therefore the chance to get tails on next throw is infinitesimally higher than 50%. Throwing a tails reverts the coin's state back to normal.

Brainlets learn in school that the coin's history doesn't affect its future. They also learn that particle's future is fully determined by its past. Now isn't that just a whacky goofy?

Who would you rather believe? A school, whose purpose is to prepare your body to the service of the human colony. Or me, an anonymous internet person.
