Obscure Hallucinations

so, I look at the ground, and notice that it has a tendency puff at locations, distorting and twisting like what it looks like when you stare at one of those compound circles and it produces an optical illusion. sometimes, as well, it will have a rythmic quality to it, almost like a steady breathing, but not linked to my own breath. if I look at a light colored space with no shading or shapes on it, I notice black lines and dots zip across my vision at some seeming randomness. I always assumed it was associated with my chronic migraines but from what I understand, the migraine aura should be the only hallucination involved and I'm pretty sure this happens even on my non-migraine days. any guesses on what this is?
