Something that massive would require a gargantuan void space somewhere. That doesn't happen since voids that large would be filled almost instantly be subduction and water as the void was originally being created. Thus, you'd end up with exactly what we already have...normal quakes.

Extremely high. The cascadia subduction zone on the eastern seashore of washington has been more active recently. One quick quake frightened alot of people because it made it feel like the ground droped a foot and back. This area going off.may trigger the lower faults to go off or so has been said by experts. And of course we have seen the big quake that happened earlier this year. One thing that is not being talked about in the mainstream is the grand solar minimum causing weather patterns to be abnormal as well as magnetic and subterreanan properties. More earth disturbances will occur and possibly the big one.

nah you're good. California's at least prepared for it. I mean shit will be fucked for a bit, but things will recover. Now Oregon and Washington those are the places you have to worry about. We recently discovered that a 9.0 earthquake is possible in that region. There are a lot of structures that will basically turn into a pile of bricks 5 minutes into the quake. The tsunami is going to do the most damage though, so if you're on the coast you're fucked. Further inland power could be out for a bit.

Structurally california may be prepared to a degree but even they are coordinating with nearby states to handle quake refugees. Tsunamis may also hit the state if the faults are set off on their own or with help of the north eastern faults . its is possible the state can rupture per se in several parts.
