hey /sci/ big brained actual scientist here. can somebody explain to me why most of my female colleagues all have twitter accounts whereas only a few of my male colleagues do? and my male colleagues mostly don't make political tweets but the females retweet not only tons of politics but also all kinds of nonsense that seems unprofessional? like, honestly, if i were older and looking to hire students, i seriously would not want them posting stupid gifs about like, e.g. being stuck at the airport. standards people -- if you want to be scientifically respectable then just keep your mouth shut on opinions and crap you're not specialized in
