Ok /sci/, assuming the apocalypse happens (WWIII, a pandemic, etc) what should a /sci/-approved bunker have? Should be capable of surviving a nuclear blast and cost/R&D should be taken into account too.

I'll start by suggesting algae bioreactors to help with biomass/cheap (albeit disgusting) food production.

The problem with algae is that it needs sunlight, which comes in limited supply under ground.
I'd say go with a mushroom farm. Substrate is cheap and your biggest problem is going to be sterility during inoculation, and its got some good nutrition, and they're a pretty versatile food flavor wise.
You might not be able to have a steak underground, but a grilled portobello isn't an awful substitute.
Maybe also a small fish farm. A closed ecosystem you could keep going perpetually with minor upkeep.
If I was going to build my fantasy bunker it would be cut out of the side of a mountain with big ass metal shutters and windows so I could get some natural light in without over exposing myself to the world.

The big question is, how do you get females to come in without alerting Chad (who will kick you out of your own bunker, supported by the females)? It may be necessary to start a guru/cult movement and install yourself as its chief.
