>>11040406Because a marker only lasts for a few hours (I’m being nice) of continued use and a box of chalk is much cheaper than a box of markers.
Not to mention the fact that, half of the time, erasers for whiteboards don’t work, forcing you to erase with your hands or paper towels, which takes extra time.
For someone who spends several hours writing on a board every week, there is simply no comparison. Unless they have some sort of allergy to chalk dust, I don’t see how anyone could prefer whiteboards to blackboards.
