>>11040366If you're an undergrad, unironically it's mostly a meme, because you don't yet know what you're doing and will only waste time studying cat theory. Category theory is a merely a tool. Just study actual maths, and pick up the category theory that you absolutely need as you go along. Most books which use categorical language actually take time to explain the basics, so you don't need to separately study it. Good luck.
