I've invented (discovered?) a method for detecting where another human is conscious (i.e. that they "have a light inside" or experience qualia).

I have tested this on six friends. My approach achieved four correct positives, one correct negative, and one false positive. Overall, I think this is good enough to... patent? I'm not sure how to proceed though.

Does anybody have experience with being in something like this position? (e.g. creating a potentially-high value patent or creating an unexpectedly amazing art piece?
