There have been speculations to what exactly this invention does, and maybe we can discuss that here, but point is that it was patented, and LOCKED AWAY becauseof corporate interests, i.e. it would make a positive difference in the world. until the patent expired, but now that it did, nobody knows and cares anymore, sike, nobody back then did already, except for a very small appearence on tv (in german (linked))
