>>11036575>It’s unclear why this would be so.To me it sounds like there might be a not yet understood problem with the other measurements, but iirc, there are several compatible measurements and both lamb shift measurements (muonic and electronic) are compatible with another, but not the previous measurements. So either there is something systematically wrong with the previous measurements, or the problem is not yet fully understood. However, it's not a difference between muons and electrons, which would imply groundbreaking new physics. Lepton universality is a hot topic, so I'm a bit disappointed that they recreated the same with elections.
