Idk you can use your degree to show off you're intelligent to someone and get an entree position for a different career path.

I'd probably be much happier if I didn't know how the world worked. When I was a kid I could get excited and happy about things. I got something published (my thesis) of my Bsc yet wasn't even excited or happy about it. Felt more like a relief.

I realized after the fact that my fucking bio degree was shit. I took the bluepill that my university fed me about biology and how I was going to contribute to the world with research and science. Little did I know I was going to be woefully underprepared for finding an actual job and breaking out of the salary bracket that requires me to subsist off of ramen noodles and my own cum.

I know some Python and Java, but I don't think it'll be enough to find a bioinformatics job. What, in particular, do you need to learn? I took a bioinformatics class in my university but it was kind of a joke.
