I'm 28 and I'm trying to self teach enough to go to university for mathematics.
I stopped taking math after grade 11 and can't remember anything from school.
I got into a car accident at 14, I was gifted then but sustained a pretty serious brain injury. I wrote off university then but being back around the general population made me think I might be selling myself short.
Is Khan Academy a good resource? Its helping me get the basics again at least.
I realize I didn't choose an easy path but I have a newly discovered love of mathematics and it has made me sharper and able to think clearly in my day to day life almost to the point where I'd swear its magic.
