Hello /sci/, I need some advice.

So I have figured out how to make something that nobody has figured out so far (at least to my knowledge). I won't share what it is but I'm kinda scared that if I do make it, it might get stolen (violently) and I won't be credited with the discovery /invention, which is my only reason for wanting to figure it out and make it in the first place.

I'm absolutely serious and I'm coming here to seek advice on how do i proceed. I don't know how to write papers, and I don't know who to contact and who is trustworthy.
