Their marketing is genius. When someone says particle physics, what do you think of? For most normies it's LHC. However, their marketing was SO good that no one thinks of the rest. There are so many underfunded experiments because of LHC. You go to a funding agency and the first thing to do is to justify why they should fund you and not LHC which has higher energies. There are so many things LHC can't do and yet they get all the money and the good students.
We should diversify particle physics. B factories, meson factories, neutrino experiments (except dune), dark matter searches etc. need more visibility.

Fuck dune too because it's literally only one measurement and a waste of money.
