What is "technology"? - As in, what is the thing that most people are referring to when they say "technology"? The collection of external, physical, non-human machines harnessing forces that can be measured using non-living instruments without consciousness?
Is it the attempt to use non-living arrangements of matter to change the world, understood materially via physics?
