Pigs have similar organ sizes to that of humans, and cannibals have said that human flesh tastes like pork

Os it possible that at some point of our evolution we impregnated a pig ancestor and got what we have today?

Oh, I found the name of that novel thanks to tvtropes. It's not by Michael Crichton, but Bernard Werber, a French author. It's called Le père de nos pères and hasn't been translated into English.
The ape throws his hybrid child out.

Pigs were spliced with early hominids to make homosapiens by our alien overlords because they needed a compliant slave race to extract resources for them, and terraform the planet to make it more hospitable for future colonists. No. But humans and pigs may have evolved in the same environment. Donald Johansen, in his book Lucy, describes how Howard Clark while, looking for hominid bones, discovered fossil pigs at Lake Omo. Johannsen found hominid fossils in a similar strata. Could be argued that two omnivore species had similar diets, possible convergent evolution?
