School gave a seminar on undergraduate research and most of the majors were bio and Chem, as expected, but there was a math major too. I talked to my professor and he explained that for undergrad, I'm not going to solve or explain anything, but the research is going to be more about educating myself more on certain topic and then giving a presentation on it.

I have no idea what topic to do. I know up Linear Algebra, Calc II, and introduction to advanced mathematics.

Should I hold out till I learn some more math?
