this does not factor in batteries, current/voltage regulators, installation, maintenance, etc...
there is a substantial initial investment before your scheme would work with even one panel.
however:
the rough calculation is that one square meter of panel will save you 0.36 cents (one third of a cent) for every hour that it is generating power you are using instead of buying the electricity from the power company.
So, one square meter of PV panel will pay for itself in maybe 8 years.
