>>11028416Interesting question. Fun to think about. It is possible to install a whole airplane parachute like they do on drag cars. This could save a lotta lives. I think it is not done because of the fear of pilot deploying at inappropriate times but that is dumb, as there can simply be conditional points set such as with automotive airbags. For parachute wings, stronger and stiffer materials may be used. Seems impractical but maybe doable.
