Why is quantum computing so cool? I think it will be so scary since the AI will be so powerful and take over humanity, but I think the benefits outweigh the costs. Like, if we ever want Elon to colonize mars we need to supply him with a cool Iron Man Jarvis kind of assistant to help him, not even Tony Stark was smart enough to find a way to reverse time without his robot assistants.

But so like, does quantum computing mean that there's two cats in a box? One that's dead and one that's alive? Does that mean we can duplicate cats and anything in a box if we don't know it's there? What if we were to feed African children with quantum computers? What if we took all the apples in the world then dumped the containers over Africa then built a dome over Africa so we wouldn't be able to see whether they were eaten or not, meaning Africa is fully fed so long as we dont look in the dome

But how does that make sense you might ask? I guess quantum computing is wacky lol but if you consider that the cat is alive AND dead, then the people are fed AND starving until you open the dome, so we should never stop them from being fed by opening the dome.
