Depends on the school. Most general education requirements only require one or two classes that the student picks. If you're a woman you're probably gonna take Feminism 1000 or Intro to Gender Theory
Guys will probably take history classes or political science

All undergrad programs are tuition farms. There is absolutely no reason to go out of state or to a private school for undergrad.
Graduate programs are different and often worth the price
