Problems, answers, pics ;3
Problem: WTF is happening in pic related? I made an LSA extract doing the following:
Source material: 60 seeds of HBWR Hawaiian/Ghana strains, 2016 year of harvest (which is old af, most alkaloids are destroyed I assume because of age and the fact they were stored in a clear bag where light can degrade them)
>medium grind seeds
>put in glass jar, add Acetone, stir, seal, sit for 2 hours, filtrate liquid through (2) paper coffee filters over metal sink drain that were pre-dampened with Acetone first, collect liquid, seal.
>repeat this for 3 total pulls
>filtrate the pull collective of alkaloids after dampening (2) coffee filters with Acetone solvent first, collect, seal
>dump on flat Pyrex glass dish pan, evap in evap chamber until only trace water droplets remain.
>With this residue caked to the pan, I add distilled water to it, shaking and swaying the water across the residue for 10 minutes.
>I then decant the water from the pan through (2) paper coffee filters on a plastic funnel, that has been dampened ahead of time with dist. H2O, into a glass jar.
>I then add a pinch of citric acid (to make LSA citrate), and a pinch of powderized TopCare Vitamin C 500 mg tablets with Rose Hips (I added this because I believe that LSA citrate even in solution is susceptible to oxidation, even though it is slow I wanted to improve self life. Vitamin C has antioxidant properties.)
Here is where it gets interesting. I have drank this stuff before, barely any euphoria since the seeds are old. Most of the time I drink this stuff within a day or two of making it. This time the extract sat sealed in a glass jar, in the dark, at room temp for 2 weeks. I picked it up every now and then to check fluorescence. This stuff was clear under normal light/ moderately indole blue colored under UV blacklight initially. NOW THERE ARE SOLIDS IN IT. I am no microbiologist, but is it possible I made a mini fucking liquid culture of what I can only assume is C. paspali!?
