Was out playing in a lightly forested area with a friend when one dropped right in front of me. It bounced once on the leaf-covered ground. It sort of looked like the pumice folks use as garden ground cover, about the size of a pecan. It was noticably denser than pumice though. The air temp was around 50°F, and my hands were kind of cold. When I picked it up, it was luke warm. Maybe 80-90°F.
