Is being a teacher also just being a performer?
Can we teach math and science in an authentic way - preparation but not giving in to a persona?

And as the student - if we want to get somewhere, anyway - do we have to overcome every teacher?
To that end, should we try and actively not adore any or the dead men who we learn from as well?
