Mars is a morning object, but pretty close to the Sun and not particularly bright. For instance, not as bright as the star Regulus, just above it.
In the west, there is nothing particularly bright.
Due south is the Winter hexagon, which has six of the 20 b rightest stars in the whole sky somewhat centered around another.
If you're not full of crap, it would be helpful to know what latitude you're on and at what time "morning" is for you.
