Why have American institutions done nothing to combat grade inflation? Would they not make enough money if they kicked out cheaters? As a grad student I caught two girls cheating and the program director just gave them an extra assignment in lieu of the one they cheated on. People are posting homework questions to chegg and learning nothing, sure it hurts them but hurts the people who try, too.
