Just curious, how would I go about testing at home if my tooth is non-vital? Dentists use heat or cold tests. Upscale dentists use lasers and oximeters. Unfortunately there are no dentists with this technology in my country (Australia). How would I make an oximeter at home? Root canal therapy would only cost me 30 dollars, but if I can avoid having a dead tooth, I would like that.
