What does /sci/ recommend to introduce an utter noob into programming, computer science and engineering?
I'm toying with the idea of studying either CS or CE here in krautland, but I don't have the slightest real clue about it due to CS (despite being supposedly on the syllabus) not existing at my school and the last person I could ask about such matters, the best friend of my mum who had his own one man programming company, passed away a decade ago.
