Yeah I get at times. Think it’s a psychological effect where you feel that you will be experiencing similar affects to the person you exposed yourself to or the information you read but in reality it’s not true and likely a placebo effect.

That won't work but you can sort of meme your way into it by making a tulpa. It's just thought process separate from your normal one that's intentionally kept separate which eventually develops into a personality that cohabitates your brain to the point you actually feel it's a sentient entity. Personally the idea of this terrifies me between never being "alone" and feeling actual grief and emptiness by killing one off

While I don't have a tulpa, I've done enough mind breaking drugs to understand how an otherwise rational person can still experience extreme emotion even in the absence of logic

indeed, i think this phenomenon can be compared to the confirmation bias. once you feel some pain around your chest and connect this feeling with the idea of a heart damage, anything that doesn't feel as it should in that area will remind you to that.
if you think about it it's a good thing, take my example. if that feeling stays for like a year after you first notice it, it may be a good idea to visit a doctor
