I dodged a bullet, moved to the country so I had to wise up rather than just blend in with all the other smelly nerds at the large high school I was at in the city, then I did a lot of volunteering at uni which improved my social skills some more.
What can the average autismo do to try and make their way in the world though? Is tertiary education too late to try and brute force some good social skills by forcing yourself to get on club committees and the like?
