But of course it can be both. In the first example you create an opinion of a person based on what people say about him. In the second example you create an opinion of a group of people based on what objective statistics say about them. If the AI formed its opinion about Trump based on similar statistics, it wouldn't say much more than "Trump is the president of the USA".
