What people mean when they say that you can’t prove a negative, (they trying to sound smart, but not knowing what content) is under the current model of the scientific method (I forget the name at the moment), you can’t be Denying the antecedent in your results, nor be Affirming the consequent.
You can’t prove WHY there is no elephant in your room, under the scientific method, and only under the sci melted.
I.e. you can’t prove a negative casual *relationship*
This kind of thing is really great when you have lots of data you want to do fancy stats on it, but really lacking in other things.
