Hey /sci/ is there any reason we can't put lenses on the side of solar panels that are lying flat to grab more light to throw at them? Rather than them just sailing by?

you'd need a mechanism to turn the lens.
might at well just turn the solar panel instead

You can't just refract the light, have it hit a mirror and them move down towards the panel?

I forgot the name but there's like a lens or crystal structure that moves like on a specific straight path. Like if you put it on a book the words appear at the top of the object?
