The people that think science can provide a moral framework are the same people who think philosophy dressed up as multiverse theory is science.

Philosophy is not science. If you want to see what happens when philosophy is treated as science just look at journals of gender and women studies.

but that is just an abstract approach. in reality defining goodness and badness as conventions is not that harmful as long as it is not forcefully instantiated
