>>10999561pfft. africa needs to be left alone for a while. they'll sort themselves out, slowly. alternatively, continued aid and the construction of critical society-sustaining infrastructure - roads, hospitals, schools, not to even mention just basic fucking food and water sources - would be a good thing, and would speed up their development. realistically, as soon as africa's not poor anymore, they'll be able to start contributing meaningfully to the global efforts towards all sciences. better for them, better for us.
