Bias cannot be removed. It will always discard information we subconciously deem unworthy of a place in our brain. If not, it will manipulate what we learn so that it can fit our preconceived reality.
There's no doubt that the scientific method is one of the best ways to confirm and test hypotheses, but even that seems dodgy at best when considering the prevalence of bias.
How does one counter this? Does it even matter that much?
