I use an expensive technical pencil and it must have soft lead cause it writes like butter.
I also use one of those retraceable multi color pens.
also infinitely cheaper, no worry of theft, you can get that tension of your shoulders when you cripple it out of frustration, no fan noises, feels good while writing, can easily match your writing speed and style.
