The problem isn't entirely that humans love meat. The problem is also we're easily brainwashed by commercials into buying what ever we're told, (Where's the beef!) and any market that has lots of money flowing into it has more purchasing power for better/more commercials.
In short, we're easily brainwashed by adds and nobody even recognizes it as brainwashing. Yet you logically look at the cold hard facts and commercials are a multi-billion dollar industry designed to force people to do things they wouldn't normally do. How the fuck do people not see this as brainwashing? The answer is, we've simply been desensitized to it and brainwashed to accept it as "normal."

They knew for decades it was deadly, but were able to confuse and brainwash the large groups of people into doing something that was literally killing them. You can't say brainwashing in today's era doesn't exist when you look at how the tobacco industry operates. Same for global warming. Same for meat industry. Same for many MANY other things that we've become oblivious/conditioned to accept as normal.
