It's literally just that Jews have and have had a culture for initiating all young boys into a scholarly, intellectual culture and have maintained these practices for at least five centuries, if not two millennia as some would claim. Simultaneously, European (Western) culture has shifted from a culture of force and repression to a culture with intellectual, cosmopolitan values and there's been a concerted effort within various intellectual strains to level the playing field and avoid discrimination (whether ethnic, class, gender etc.)

I honestly never understood how this wealth/success and high IQ correlation ever got taken seriously in the first place. Wealth is about location, resource abundance, controlling and negotiationing the demand for it. While success is about demand in specific skills and the timely appropriateness of it in a given economy within a given era.

It would be assumed then that location, abundance, demand and timeliness is what allows wealth and success to be created. There's no denying that IQ is important but it is not what creates wealth and success. For example thought processes concerning binary thinking and coding has existed for thousands of years, only within the past century has those with such skills have been able to draw highly favorable financial results from it in.

Even if you focus on only modern examples the situation remains the same. Engineers and Doctors are more wealthy and successful than physics and math academics. Despite the former having lower IQ averages than the latter. Same goes with electricians vs. teachers. Again the former has a lower IQ average than the latter but more wealth and success.
