Hypothetically, there should be a way to calculate how high the highest mountain could get and the lowest trench could be right?

The material contraints, density, gravity and the like are all constant and mostly defined. So what would those limitations be? How high could the highest mountain on earth potentially be and how deep could the deepest trench??
