I've been doing a lot of research into OCD. I've found two possible fixes and wanted your opinion, /sci/.

1. Gluten - basically avoid gluten and grains like wheat, rye, etc. White rice is fine as long as you don't eat a lot. The "Perfect Health Diet" and the book "Grain Brain" talk about this, I've seen a post on /sci/ mention it in the past too. However Grain Brain implies to go keto and barely eat any rice.

2. Glutamate - studies claim it is the glutamate in foods. Grains have fairly high glutamate which makes sense going back to #1, but things like almonds, pistachios, parmesan cheese, tomatoes, and food additives like MSG all have a lot of glutamate so try and avoid those, eat foods without too many ingredients though naturally occurring glutamate isn't as bad.

I've tried #1 and after about 5 days, I do feel slightly better but my OCD is still there and interferes with my life. But it is slightly weaker and I've also had more brain energy/motivation to do things. But then yesterday I ate a ton of pistachios and feel my symptoms returning, leading me to believe it might be #2. It could also be both. What are your thoughts on this? Has anyone with OCD tried either of this, or anyone without it want to comment?
