How many possible German registration plate combinations are there for one region WITHOUT making the local vehicle registration office forbid it due to nazi codes on the plate. I know this makes it harder but isn't that the gist of it?
The 1-3 letters at the start don't matter since they stand for the region. The 1 to 2 letters in the middle are made up of the 26 known alphabetic letters. The 1 to 4 numbers at the end can start with a 0.
