Some get up from bed because they want good grades and don't like to be looked down upon.
Some couldn't give a shit about that and get up from bed if people start to become disappointed with them.
Others may become active only if people 'wish' for something.
All these types of people tend to either 'believe in logic' or not.
This is why the current test system favors some (using grades as bait), while others have to rely e.g. on a bitchy mother to get to learn for a test.
So yes, horrible test takers do exist, because the education system does not provide a valid drive for them to learn.
You could argue that it's just logical to follow the path to success, but almost noone except little kids are actually driven purely by that thought.
