>>10982402I hated Latin back in the day. Difficult, shitloads to memorize, long-ass conjugation and declination tables that kept growing with every month. Turns out, it teaches you a lot about your own language (at least it did for my mother tongues), and certain concepts in your own language make sense. It's probably less helpful if your first language is English, since English has undergone more simplification steps than other European languages.
