I wouldn't be a junior in university without chegg doing all my homework. Of course, the answers won't always be exact/word for word, but it gives you an idea of how to start/what to do/where to plug in numbers.

It does, but that ship has already sailed. Unless the school has prestige, it does nothing but hurt them to give a shit about cheaters. Employers assume every school is shit. Being passionate about a topic is more than enough to distinguish you from the riffraff.

I did a math course in French as an anglo speaker. It was hard but math is the universal language so that helped and the prof helped me translate terms if I had issues.

Some students here actually got F's for cheating because they copied answers verbatim from Chegg.
Also, he might get an A on the lab, but he probably won't get an A for the course if it's at all serious. You can't pull up Chegg during the exam.
